I obtained my B.Sc. in Applied Medical Sciences at King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (2003-208). I then completed a M.Sc. in Medical and Molecular Biology with Genetics at the University of Bangor.
In 2013 I joined the Parasitology department at LSTM.

Supervisors: Professor Stephen Ward, Secondary: Professor Giancarlo Biagini.

My research examines the key cellular aspects of gametocytes physiology and measure and develop the response of the antimalarial drugs against this stage. The project aims to identify the physiology and pharmacology of P. falciparum gametocytes towards developing interventions to block malaria transmission.
