Blog Competition 2020

“Should we rethink the way we approach global health in a post COVID-19 world?”

Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is pleased to announce the launch of our Alumni and Friends Blog Competition 2020.

We are seeking creative and forward-thinking ideas from the LSTM alumni and friends community to create a blog post exploring how COVID-19  has affected global health.  Alumni and friends from around the world are invited to write 500-600 words by Midnight on Tuesday 3rd November on the theme of; “Should we rethink the way we approach global health in a post COVID-19 world?”.

Take part to win cash prize of £150 and to be featured in the next edition of Lead Magazine and on the LSTM website.

You should aim to demonstrate excellent writing skills, presenting a well-reasoned argument, individuality, and where appropriate backing up their arguments with relevant data and research.

Entry requirements

  • Entries must be in English. Writing should be concise and correct.
  • Entries must be submitted by the author and not on someone else’s behalf.
  • Each entrant may only submit one blog post.
  • The blog post must be original.
