The disease elimination agenda: the role of science, policy and advocacy

This one-day RSTMH meeting will explore the role of policy-making in recent advances in disease control and elimination and in agenda-setting beyond the Millennium Development Goals.

Confirmed speakers and session convenors include Professor David Molyneux LSTM, Professor Chris Whitty, Dr Dirk Engels, Dr Bernadette Abela-Ridder, Dr Melissa Parker and Dr Adrian Hopkins; diseases covered will include malaria, trachoma, lymphatic filariasis and polio, with break-out cross-cutting sessions on surveillance, financing, delivery systems and adherence.
