Diane Umuhoza

Programme Manager (Francophone)

Diane joined the Centre for Maternal and Newborn Health (CMNH) in August 2017 as a Programme Manager. She has over 10 years’ experience of managing a portfolio of complex projects involving various stakeholders - all based in different geographical locations.

Prior to joining CMNH, Diane worked as a Regional Deployments Manager (North & East Africa) for Crown Agents Conflict, Humanitarian and Security Operations Team (CHASE OT). She was responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial budgeting, expenditure and reporting across all projects managed by her team and thus ensuring value for money.

Diane has a BSc in Politics and International Relations from Oxford Brookes University and an MA Public Administration from the London Metropolitan University.

As fluent French speaker, Diane supports the CMNH team to implement projects in Togo and Niger thus helping to drive forward the Global Fund (GFATM) initiatives in these two countries.
