Jack’s background is in International Development. He obtained his BA (2014), MA (2015), and PhD (2019) from the Department of Political and Cultural Studies at Swansea University. His PhD thesis examined the impact of improving transport infrastructure and services on access to markets, healthcare, and other essential services in rural areas of Liberia. Prior to joining LSTM, Jack was a research assistant at Swansea University, where he worked on projects focused on identifying development challenges arising from issues of mobility in Liberia and Kenya. At LSTM, Jack is a Postdoctoral Research Associate working in the REDRESS consortium, which aims to help improve the care of people affected by severe stigmatising skin diseases (SSSDs) in Liberia.
