Dr Josephine Parker

Post-Doctoral Research Associate

I trained at the University of Cambridge (2007-2010) (BA Biological Natural Sciences, Zoology) and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (2010-2011) (MSc). My PhD at LSTM investigated the behavioural responses of African malaria vectors to insecticides, and was completed in 2016.

My current project is a study of the Peridomestic behaviour of African malaria vectors and the impact of insecticides, funded by the UK Medical Research Council.  My work is split between the LSTM and Mwanza, Tanzania, where I conduct field work in collaboration with the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) and the University of Warwick, UK.
