BSc Biology at Ulster University with a Diploma in Professional Practice which was completed in the Nutrition and Nutrigenomics group of Fondazione Edmund Mach, Italy.
This was followed by an MRes Advanced Biological Sciences (Bioinformatics) at the University of Liverpool focusing on the manipulation and analysis of big data (genome-wide association studies) using R and Python coding as part of an adverse drug reaction study.
The Disease Data Management System (DDMS) is designed to support the monitoring and evaluation of malaria interventions which are necessary for efficient disease control. The DDMS is a central point for a range of relevant disease data including entomological, IRS, and quality assurance data.
My role involves the configuration and implementation of the DDMS in various countries, training people in-country on how to use the DDMS as well as designing reports which pull data from the DDMS and provide data analysis and visualisation.
