Clinic Receptionist

Do you have excellent customer service skills?

If yes, Well Travelled Clinics- a subsidiary of world-renowned Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) is looking to appoint a motivated Receptionist for their clinic in Liverpool and Chester.

As a “Point of Contact” for users of the travel clinic your role is pivotal to their services.

Your role as a team player will be to:

  • Meet and greet patients arriving at the clinic and booking them in for appointments
  • Deal with phone and email enquiries
  • Review retail sales and identify products which do not sell
  • Deal with cash and card transactions for travel clinic and retail purchases

The ideal candidate will have:

  • GCSE level qualification (or equivalent / equivalent working experience)
  • A polite telephone manner
  • Pleasant and courteous disposition
  • Flexible attitude towards the demands of this post
  • Good working knowledge of office administration processes

You should possess strong communication skills and be confident speaking to a wide range of stakeholders. You will be pro-active and able to prioritise workload on own initiative. In addition, excellent computer skills and commitment to maintain confidentiality are also essential to this role.

We expect to hold interviews in the week commencing 2nd March 2020.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS and/or other international criminal record check prior to appointment and at regular points during employment. The outcome must be satisfactory to LSTM, as the duties of this post will involve direct and/or indirect contact with vulnerable adults and/or children.
