Equality and Diversity Training

LSTM provides a range of equality and diversitytraining and awareness raising events that are open to staff and students. Places are free, however, Booking is essential to ensure your place.

  • An e-learning module is a must for all staff new starters – (details are sent direct to individuals along with other induction modules).
  • “Munch and learn” sessions– bring your own lunch and eat whilst we explore a specific theme or topic.  Each mid-day session lasts about 50 minutes, is delivered by the LSMT Equality Advisor and includes a Q and A session.  The “Munch and Learn” programme is publicised quarterly.
  • Formal half-day training sessions on a range of topics (for example Unconscious Bias, Anti-discrimination laws, specific protected characteristics, and” how-to” sessions on things like equality impact assessment, equality monitoring etc.) are available and will be advertised via usual channels.
