The Technology Enhanced Learning Unit is part of the Education & Training department at LSTM.
The TEL Unit is responsible for:
- Managing the technologies which support Learning & Teaching.
- Supporting staff and students in the effective use of these technologies.
- Promoting and embedding these technologies in every day practice.

The aim is to provide a more engaging, enjoyable and meaningful learning experience to today’s learner and ensure that academic staff have the skills to support this. This is achieved by delivering high quality CPD opportunities, working closely with academic staff to develop effective interventions and by supporting the delivery of the SEDA Supporting Learning Award.
The use of technology underpins the delivery and support of our high quality programmes from short courses to full Masters and ensure that all of our learners have an equitable learning experience.
