Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2025

Your voice matters to us.

Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) wants to make sure that our students have the best possible experience while studying with us. To do this, we need to know what you think works well and what we could do to improve your student experience.

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is now open! It will close on Friday 9th May at 5.00pm.

By completing the survey, you will help shape the experiences of current and future postgraduate students at LSTM.

What is PTES and why does it matter?

PTES is the only education sector-wide survey of postgraduate students and so is the only way for us to compare how we are doing against the national average and to make changes that will improve postgraduate students’ learning and teaching experience in the future.

The more students that take part the more information we have to improve what we offer in the future.

All eligible participants should have now received an invite to their university email account to complete the survey. The survey can also be accessed via the following link -

https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/lstm/postgraduate-taught-experience-survey-ptes-2025

If accessing the survey via this link the Respondent ID is your 5 or 6 digit student ID number and the password is PTES25. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Your opinion is incredibly valuable to us and we value the time you take sharing your thoughts.

If you need help accessing the survey or have any queries about the survey questions then please email haveyoursay@lstmed.ac.uk or contact Mia Lindfield, Student Academic Support Officer mia.lindfield@lstmed.ac.uk.
