This webinar is a joint initiative with the University of Nairobi department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Speakers are Dr Jack Milln, an Obstetric physician from London who is running an MRC sponsored  cohort study in Uganda looking at risk factors and obstetric outcomes for women with diabetes in pregnancy, Dr Alfred Osoti, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the University of Nairobi and an affiliate associate profrssor in the Department of Global Health, University of Washington and Dr Ingrid Gichiri, a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.

The webinar covers pre-conceptual care for women with medical disorders, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and diabetes in pregnancy.

Obstetric anal sphincter injury webinar

In this webinar Dr Ranee Thakar, VIce-president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Subspecialist in Urogynaecology and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Croydon University Hospital and honorary senior lecturer at St George’s University of London leads this webinar. She will take us through a detailed revision of perineal anatomy and discuss the diagnosis, management and prevention of obstetric anal sphincter injuries.
