LSTM is able to report another record level of income in 2017/18. Stripping out exceptional items, income of £115m was up 27% on the previous year. Five year total income growth is 91% and 5 year research income growth is 100%. The 2017/18 retained surplus was £4.3m and the balance sheet is strong with net assets of £50.2m.
LSTM has a strong pipeline of research grants over the next 3-5 years and its offering of post graduate courses continues to increase both in the UK and overseas.
