Dr Marion Ravit

Senior research associate

My PhD thesis in Public Health (option Epidemiology) completed in 2019 at Ceped (IRD, Paris, France) allowed me to specialize in intervention evaluation on health financing and women's access to health care during pregnancy. Prior to that, I graduated with honors in 2012 from the University of Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand, France) with a Master's degree in Health Economics in developing countries. I have worked for several years at theFrench National Research Institute for sustainable development (IRD) on numerous projects aimed at improving Maternal Health in Africa and Asia.

I am the Country Program manager for African francophone countries at the Global Fund and Allied Programmes Unit. I conduct research and provide technical assistance especially for projects in Togo and Chad. Our aim is to increase and improve the availability and quality of integrated ANC and PNC, including HIV, tuberculosis and malaria control in health facilities; to strengthen monitoring and evaluation (M&E) at facilities involved; improve maternal and newborn health through assessing maternal morbidity and neonatal morbidity; to support capacity building and strengthen health systems.
