Dr Susan Gould

HCID Clinical Fellow

My background is predominantly in clinical medicine, most recently working as a registrar in infectious diseases and medical microbiology in Liverpool.

After completing my MBChB at The University of Edinburgh,I worked in Scotland for a few years before gradually moving further south.

I completed the Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at LSTM in 2014. Between 2015 and 2017 I spent time at the Centre de Recherches Médicales de Lambaréné.  In late 2017 I returned to Merseyside for specialty training. 

At LSTM I will be working with the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group in evidence synthesis and with the NIHR HPRU group. My current research includes projects on the aerobiology of SARS-CoV-2.
