Tilly joined the Department of Clinical Sciences in June 2021 as a Research Assistant in Evidence Synthesis within the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group (CIDG) as part of the Research, Evidence and Development Initiative (READ-It).
Tilly completed her Integrated Master’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Liverpool, including conducting a research placement at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, at their Tropical Disease Research Laboratory. In Thailand, she studied the innate immune response resulting from the co-infection of H. pylori and O. viverrini and contributed to the Opisthorchiasis control and elimination program.
In June 2022 Tilly was appointed Review Synthesis Delivery Specialist for the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group, responsible for guiding reviews through the production and publication cycle and providing support to authors.
Tilly has experience as a Cochrane author for both intervention reviews and diagnostic test accuracy reviews and is actively working as an author on several titles.
Teaching
Tilly has been involved in teaching on TROP973 Systematic Reviews for Policy and Practice, DTM&H, and LIFE 357 Advanced skills in Tropical Disease Biology.
