Kennedy Uadiale

Kennedy Uadiale was the inaugural Mamco Selab Scholar when he began the Masters in International Public Health at LSTM in September 2016. Kennedy recently graduated LSTM with a Distinction, and was awarded the Debbie Quinney prize for the highest overall marks on the International Public Health MSc programmes.

Kennedy is currently a Medical Team Leader of the Nigeria Emergency Response Unit for Medecins Sans Frontieres, a position about which he is passionate. He has a particular interest in infectious disease control and research as well as alleviating the suffering of patients in poor communities.

When Kennedy began his studies at LSTM he said, “I would like to contribute more by becoming involved with systematic research to improve Nigerian and global health policies necessary to tackle public health outbreaks in Nigeria.”
