Karen manages the communications for a number of projects in the Department of International Public Health; ReBUILD for Resilience (health systems strengthening in fragile and shock-prone settings), PERFORM2Scale (scaling-up a management strengthening intervention) and CHESS (Centre for Health Systems Research).
She has more than 25 years’ experience in a variety of communications roles, and when not at LSTM works as a freelance copywriter and editor, working on everything from books to social media. Current and previous clients/employers include National Museums Liverpool, Port Sunlight Village Trust, University of Liverpool, Edge Hill University and numerous cultural and heritage organisations.
Karen holds an MA in International Relations & Security and a professional diploma in digital marketing.
