Hazel is the Operations Manager for CMNH, and has worked at LSTM since 2011.
Hazel currently manages the operations team in Liverpool and Kenya and has set up international offices and teams for CMNH across Africa and Asia. She oversees a portfolio of funding in excess of £32 million, establishing robust programme and office management systems.
Hazel oversees the planning, management and delivery of our work, as an international centre of excellence on maternal and newborn health. She supervises operations for “Making it Happen”, the DFID flagship programme, in close collaboration with governments, professional associations and healthcare providers.
Hazel has almost 20 years’ experience developing partnerships and delivering strategic plans in the private, voluntary and public sectors. She has a background in socio-economic regeneration and European policy, with a BSc in European Regional Development and recently achieved a MBA (Distinction) from University of Liverpool and won MBA Student of the Year Award 2014-15.
