Project Officer (Supply Chain)

Tim has extensive experience coordinating complex supply chain activities in humanitarian emergencies and is an established PRINCE 2 qualified professional accomplished in all aspects of programme management. He has complemented this with Humanitarian Logistics Certification from the Fritz Institute and a Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from LSTM. Tim worked overseas for five years in challenging situations and insecure environments including Haiti, Liberia, South Sudan, Lebanon and Nepal.

Tim joined LSTM in 2015, as a Programme Officer at the Centre for Maternal and Newborn Health. He successfully led and delivered complex programmes in low and middle-income countries, focused on capacity building, assessing health systems and providing technical assistance. In addtion, he worked with the business development team, technical and academic staff to develop budgets and work plans for funding proposals. In October 2019, Tim joined the CNTD team as a Project Officer on UK aid’s flagship NTD programme – Accelerating the Sustainable Control and Elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases (Ascend). In this role, Tim is part of a specialised team working closely with Ministries of Health to address challenges faced with the NTD drug supply chain. Initially, this has involved conducting in-country supply chain assessments, agreeing activities with Ministries of Health and beginning to develop standard operating procedures and training materials.
