An exciting interdisciplinary research symposium for original research relating to healthcare in humanitarian settings.
We have a brilliant line-up of speakers confirmed, giving presentations based on four core themes: the challenges and practicalities of humanitarian aid, children in humanitarian settings, infectious and neglected tropical diseases, and working in conflict zones.
Keynote speaker: Lorenzo Savioli, the previous director of the WHO’s department of Neglected Tropical Diseases. Dr Savioli has years of experience working overseas and is well known for his pioneering work in public health!
Ticket includes a full day of presentations, including keynote speakers and poster presentations with a lunchtime buffet. The conference concludes with an evening networking event with drinks reception and buffet, music, short films, and a curated photography exhibition pertaining to healthcare in humanitarian settings.
