Support to the Delivery of Essential Health Services in Kenya

Kenya, 2005-2011

The purpose of this programme is to support the Ministries of Public Health and Sanitation (MoPHS) and Medical Services (MoMS) to provide integrated, effective health services in Kenya, particularly for poor women and infants. The programme is being led by LATH in partnership with Liverpool VCT, Health Unlimited and the Nuffield Centre for International Health and Development. We are working collaboratively with the Ministries at Central, Provincial and District levels to support health systems strengthening in general and reproductive health services in particular. We are supporting the MoPHS and MoMS in taking forward the adoption of a Sector-wide Approach to health service delivery through a range of short and long-term technical assistance.
