The Application Process
Stage 1
To be eligible to apply for a CSC Distance Learning Scholarship, you must first apply for the MSc Global Health and receive a conditional offer from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine for this course.
Please complete your application for the MSc Global Health through the APPLY link on the course page.
You should submit your application to LSTM as soon as you can to ensure there is enough time for processing and you still have time to complete the LSTM and the CSC scholarship applications prior to the deadline.
Once you have submitted your course application for the MSc Global Health, this will be reviewed by our team and if successful, you will receive a conditional offer with a link to apply for the scholarship.
We will prioritise all applications received before midnight (GMT) on 20 March 2026. We cannot guarantee processing applications in time for CSC deadline after this date.
How can I get a conditional offer from LSTM?
With your application, you need to provide contact details for two referees (who can respond quickly), plus:
- Evidence of previous qualifications – i.e. your undergraduate degree certificate and transcripts.
- Personal statement about why you want to do the programme and how it fits with your career aspirations
- Copy of your passport or national ID
- Two references. These can follow and be a condition of any offer.
- Evidence that you meet LSTM’s English language requirements. We accept a wide variety of English language evidence.
