Areas of interest

Health systems capacity strengthening in low and middle income countries, research methodologies, gender, sexual and reproductive rights, HIV, disability studies. 


Laura has been working as a research assistant since August 2013 with the Capacity Research Unit on evaluations of research capacity strengthening initiatives in low and middle income countries. She also works with the Clinical Group carrying out qualitative research exploring child marriage in Sudan. Previously, she has worked on the management of community development projects worldwide aimed at improving infrastructure, education and health.  Laura completed her MSc in International Public Health at LSTM, where she undertook research exploring the sexual and reproductive health rights of disabled women in India.
