Maternal diet during pregnancy: a risk factor for noncommunicable lung disease

Professor Devereux will be presenting an overview of his (and others') work on antenatal and dietary factors in the development of asthma and COPD.

Graham Devereux is Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Aberdeen and honorary Consultant at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. He trained in Cambridge, Oxford, Newcastle, Nottingham and Aberdeen. His main research interest is the investigation of early life influences on the life course of asthma, COPD and allergy. Graham is also chief investigator for two UK wide studies of repurposing drugs for use in COPD.
