We offer a number of scholarships, bursaries and discounts for our UK and international students.

Scholarships
For All Applicants (UK and International)
- LSTM Future Leaders in Global Health Scholarship (Applications open for January 2026 intake) – for applicants to our part-time MSc Global Health (online)
- LSTM Career Development Scholarships (Applications open for a February 2026 intake) - for applicants to our Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing (online)
For International Applicants Only
- Harriette Kelso Scholarship (Applications open for September 2026 intake) – for nationals of Sierra Leone or Tanzania who are also ordinarily domiciled in Sierra Leone or Tanzania and applying for the Professional Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
- Mamco Selab Scholarship (Applications open for September 2026 intake) – for Nigerian applicants intending to return to Nigeria applying for any diploma, master's or PhD.
- Thomas Mark Scholarship (Applications open for a September 2026 intake) – LMIC students with paediatric backgrounds or specialisms, intending to return to their home country, or another LMIC, applying for a full-time, on-campus master's programme.
- Annie Elizabeth Evans Memorial Scholarship (Applications open for September 2026 intake) - for Indian applicants applying for the MSc Infectious Diseases and Global Health.
- Allen and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Scholarship (Applications open for September 2026 intake) - for LMIC applicants to our full-time, on-campus Master of Public Health International, MSc Humanitarian Studies or MSc Tropical and Infectious Diseases
- LSTM Future Leaders Scholarship (International) (Applications open for September 2026 intake) - for LMIC applicants to our full-time, on-campus master’s programmes.
- LSTM Humanitarian Scholarship (Applications open for September 2026 intake) – for applicants who are at risk as a result of armed conflict, war or who have been displaced or forced to leave their country in the past three years applying for any master's programme
- Global Health Practitioners Scholarship (Applications open for September 2026 intake) - for LMIC applicants to our part-time MSc Global Health (online) starting in September 2026.
For UK Applicants (including Ireland) Only
- LSTM Future Leaders Scholarship (Applications open for September 2026 intake) - for applicants from the UK and Ireland to our full-time, on-campus master’s programmes.

Bursaries
- Northern Futures Bursary – reduced fees for applicants from, or based in, the north of England who are applying for a full-time, on-campus master's programme.
Discounts
- Intercalating Student Discount – discount for medical, dentistry or veterinary students who are intercalating after three years of study. Not applicable to NHS bursary students.
- Alumni Loyalty Discount – discounts available for our alumni to support their continuous learning experience,
External Funding
There are various external funding bodies who help you to cover tuition fees and living costs:

- Postgraduate Master’s Loans– for UK fee-paying students. The amount of loan available will vary depending on where you are from in the UK.
- Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) – you may be entitled to DSA if you have a specific learning difficulty, health problem or disability.
